“More Than The Jews Have Kept Shabbat, Shabbat Has Kept The Jews!”

– Achad Ha-Am

Lisa & Morris Bardas warmly invite you to join us for Share Shabbat at The Shtiebel—an evening of connection, tradition, and meaning.

More than just a meal, Share Shabbat is an invitation to gather with friends and community, in a space that’s warm, inclusive, and rooted in Jewish spirit.

Together, we’ll welcome in Shabbat with a soulful Kabbalat Shabbat service, followed by an intimate, fully catered dinner filled with song, ritual, and conversation.

We’ll light candles, raise a glass, bless the challah, and explore the beauty of Jewish tradition in a way that is welcoming and accessible—whether you’re deeply connected to Judaism or just curious.

The evening begins with welcome drinks at 5:30pm, leading into a community-led service at 6:00pm, and Shabbat dinner at 7:15pm.
Through stories, questions, and shared experience, we’ll turn this Friday night into something sacred and shared.

Because at The Shtiebel, when we share a meal, we share so much more.

We’d love to have you at our table.

Join let us know if you can join us from 5.30pm on Friday 6 June.
