As we gather on Yom Kippur, we turn to the sacred tradition of Yizkor, honouring the memory of those we’ve lost. While these prayers are shared as a community, they carry deep personal significance for each of us. This year at Shtiebel, we’re introducing a heartfelt new candle lighting ritual to offer individuals and families a meaningful way to remember their loved ones.
By completing the form below, you’ll give us the honour of creating a personal memorial candle in memory of your loved ones. Their names will be read aloud during the ritual, allowing for a moment of personal reflection as the candle is lit. While donations are warmly welcomed, there is no charge for the candles, and you are welcome to list as many or as few loved ones as you wish.
Together, we can hold space for each other’s memories, bringing comfort and connection in this sacred time.
